1.    Molecular analysis of enterovirus 71-host interaction: 腸病毒71型屬於微小RNA病毒科的一種,腸病毒感染細胞後誘導細胞內膜發生重組以形成複製複合體(replication complex)。有學者提出假說,可能是由於病毒與宿主的相互作用造成的結果。我們實驗室一直對病毒與宿主的蛋白分子相互作用有深入研究,我們已鑑定出數個蛋白分子miRNA與內質網壓力訊號傳遞路徑,我們會進一步了解這些蛋白分子與路徑在病毒複製所扮演的角色,希望未來可以建立整個EV71複製的分子機轉,也希望建立有特色的研究。

2.    Drug discovery against EV71 and influenza viruses: 我們實驗室從事抗病毒中藥與小分子的開發,希望從臨床中藥複方或單味中藥,來開發與篩選具抗流行性感冒病毒與腸病毒71行的抑制藥物,並研究其機轉,以因應可能爆發之疫情。
